Wysokie Mazowieckie
17th Century Synagogue from Bialystok province

A small town in the province of Bialystok.

This was one of the oldest and most original synagogues. It was built in the beginning of the 17th c. when the first Jews settled in the town and was pulled down 1880 to avoid its collapse.

The square men's synagogue was covered with a three-tiered tent roof.

The women's section was in the north side.

The model was built after a drd wing by Gloger from 1870.
